...and done.

Stephen handed me the final audio cut today, in three different formats, meaning this film is done and ready to GO. And it sounds wonderful. Lots of little abstract sounds and semi-cartoonish hits, blips, and rhythms. It's really something that should be heard, not explained.

Tonight the DVD authoring will begin, en masse, and by Friday we'll have it out to at least two festivals with April 30th deadlines. By the end of the weekend we may have it to some literary journals for consideration.

Update 4.15.10

The film is so close to being done I just tell people it is. Stephen's putting a few final touches on the audio, and I'm thinking about adjusting a few shots--but nothing that would take more than a few hours.

And then, a day or two of nonstop DVD authoring and submissions.

Lots of them hopefully, and that's where you come in. We've currently set up a donation page designed to help us afford the costs of all those DVDs, mailers, and entry fees.
